Hosting and images

Cloudflare hosts this site and processes IP addresses, request times and browser information for operation and security. Our basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in a functioning, secure site. Cloudflare is our hosting processor and keeps these logs only as long as necessary for operation and security. US transfers covered by its EU-US Data Privacy Framework certification rely on the adequacy decision; see its data processing addendum.

Browser storage

The cart and saved table design use sessionStorage locally, with no upload to our server. It normally clears when the tab's session ends; browser session restoration may preserve it. Internal review mode saves only the draft-notes display preference in localStorage until cleared.

The public site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. Fonts are local. Instagram is a plain link; no data is sent there before you click.

Requests and correspondence

Forms open a prepared email to office@cutform.at in your own mail app. They do not upload entries or files. Attach selected files yourself in the mail app, then send the email.

We use the contact details, country/location, company, project information, dimensions, timing, cart contents and files you send to answer, quote or perform a contract. The basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for your enquiry/contract; Article 6(1)(f) for an organisation's contact person, our interest in handling business enquiries; and Article 6(1)(c) for legally required records.

Email providers: Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Email Routing, forwarding) and Google (Gmail, mailboxes). These services may process data in the United States. Transfers covered by the providers' EU-US Data Privacy Framework certification rely on the adequacy decision; standard contractual clauses apply where required. See Cloudflare's safeguards and Google's safeguards. Enquiry correspondence is kept for the duration of the enquiry; accounting records are retained for seven years, or longer if legally required. Relevant details may go to delivery/installation partners where necessary for an agreed contract.

Details needed to answer or contract are necessary for that purpose; without them we may be unable to proceed. Other details/files are optional. We do not use profiling or automated decisions.

Your rights

Subject to the GDPR's conditions, you have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability. You may object on grounds relating to your situation to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact office@cutform.at. You may complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority at dsb.gv.at or another competent authority.
