About the studio

From first idea to finished form

Cut Form is a design studio in Burgenland, Austria. We design furniture, lighting and architectural elements and make them ourselves, in our own workshop.

Every piece begins with a practical question: what should this object do in the space? From there we develop the form, test the material and cut it in our own workshop.

The name says how we work. We cut, and form appears: a flat sheet becomes sections, the sections become an object, and the object changes the feeling of a room.

We work with private clients, architects, interior designers and businesses across the European Union. A sketch, a reference or a simple idea is enough to start.

Our workshop

Made in our workshop in Austria

Every piece is made to order in our workshop in Austria. We cut it section by section, check every detail and finish it here before it leaves.

We work with wood, plywood, MDF, acrylic and selected composite materials, chosen for the form and the job. Materials
